How To Post Your Web Page to Oasis Online Server

With Microsoft Front Page

After you have submitted your application for web space with Oasis Online (allow 5-10 days for processing) You must change your dial up networking connection as follows:

Double left click on "My Computer"
   

Double left click "Dial Up Networking"
   
     Right click on your "Oasis Online" Connection
   
         Left click "Server" tab
   
             check "Log on to Network"
OK

Open Front Page Program
   
Click on File then Open
   
     Click on Web Folders (on left)
   
         Type http://users.oasisol.com/yourusername
                Double left click on the "users.oasisol.com" folder
   
                 Double left click on the folder with your username (or click open button)
   
                     Double left click on "default" page (or click open button)
   
Begin designing your Web Page
(Remember to save your page to "default" page when finished)

  1. Download WS_FTP LE from
www.download.com

   

2.  Launch WS_FTP LE
    1. Profile Name = Whatever (your choice, just identifies file)
    2. Host Name =
ftp.domainname.com
    1. for Oasis Online users = users.oasisol.com
    1. Host type = automatic detect
    2. User ID = your username
    3. Password = your password
    4. Leave account blank
    5. Leave comments blank unless want notes on account
    6. Click OK (automatically connects to server)
    7. Find files on left side (likely in C: Drive)
    8. Click arrow key to move to right side
    9. Files are automatically added when moved to right side
